Privately Owned Firearms Range
  • Open to military ID Card holders (includes retirees) and
    their guests.
  • Range 4, Fort Riley (Marked on the 2010 Fort Riley Outdoor
    Recreation Map)
  • Firearms must be registered on Ft. Riley
  • 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. most Sat.& Sun.
  • Call ahead (239-4200) to check status

  • Static Range: Six Lane 60 yd range
  • Premium Excelsior targets
  • Sunrise to Sunset; Required self check-in
  • No Broadheads
  • Located off of Vinton School Road at the
    Trap/Skeet/Archery Range.
  • The 2010 Fort Riley Outdoor Recreation Map has the POF
    and Trap/Skeet/Archery Ranges located on them. The map
    can be attained at any self check station or the Fort Riley
    Conservation Office (Building 407, Pershing Court).
3-D Bowhunting Range (Click for Flyer)
FREE, unless running a competitive shoot

  • 40 McKenzie & Rinehart targets in a woodland & open
    setting. You won't find a better setting in Kansas! We have
    gators-hogs-mountain lions, you name it. We also have more
    realistic targets you might see in Kansas like deer, elk &
    turkey.

  • Come out and check out the course it will only cost you
    some gas money! We will have at least 20 3-D targets out to
    shoot at. There will be times during the spring and summer
    that we will have all 40 3-D lanes open with targets out. It's
    a must see course and once you come once, we bet you'll
    keep coming back. Enjoy!
